Atheist, but not bad!
Invisible Pink Unicorn jewelry is based on an atheist symbol. It is jewelry with a purpose.
In a subtle and unobtrusive way the jewelry gives you an opportunity to express “I’m an atheist, but that does not make me a bad person“.
But why would you want to express that?
Well, In many places atheists are perceived as morally inferior. Atheists are seen as weird, bad, or downright evil depending on where they live. Openly professing to be an atheist can get you isolated, fired or even killed (see examples here).
Atheists get a bad reputation for being evil people when really they are your friendly neighbour, your family that loves you unconditionally, your child's amazing teacher and your very best friend who is afraid to let you know.
Don't be invisible, put a friendly face on atheism!
But you can help change that!
By letting those around you find out that you’re an atheist, you help erode harmful sentiments about atheists. When people find out that a person they like and respect is an atheist, it will challenge their negative notions about atheists.
By letting those around you find out that you’re an atheist, you help them realize that being an atheist does not say anything about who you are as a person. It helps them discover that being an atheist does not make you a weird, a bad or an evil person.
So put a friendly face on atheism, and inspire other atheists to do the same!
